THE ARGUMENT FOR THE REMEDYING OF INJUSTICE
In this section, Prof. Russell mentioned another variation of the moral argument,
“They say that the existence of God is required to bring justice to this world.”
Before we respond to Prof. Russell, we shall comment that having a problem
that only God can solve – e.g. solving injustice in the world - does not necessarily mean that God exists.
Worded in a more general way,
“Having a problem does not guarantee that a solution exists”.
So, this ‘proof for God’ does not actually prove that God is real.
Now addressing Prof. Russell’s answer.
He rambled about injustices in other worlds, mathematical concepts of probabilities,
and eventually digressed to claim that most people believe in God,
because ‘they were taught to believe in God’.
However, he never actually addressed this ‘proof for God’.
