Our speaker found the Lord in undergraduate engineering school.
There he also took to heart the teaching of his engineering professors.
In deriving the engineering equations, his professors would go
line by line, precept by precept, leaving nothing to chance.
On occasion, they would clearly specify any necessary simplifying assumptions.
Our speaker applied this way of thinking to Darwinian Evolution.
He found Darwinian Evolution wanting.
For example, how did birds come from dinosaurs.
But the 'proof' that birds came from dinosaurs leaves out a gazzillion steps.
So he rejected Darwinian Evolution.
After graduation, our speaker (who also later earned a masters in engineering)
has worked in places (direct hire, and/or contract)
as diverse as US Navy (civilian), NASA, Boeing, Goodyear, Princeton Plasma Physics Labs, etc.
He wishes to encourage churches that they can trust what God says, because
the repeatable scientific facts (not necessarily the assertions), support what God says.
