8th.: God’s Glory can Rub Off on Us
Moses spent so much time with God that 'God rubbed off onto Moses'.
We see this with,
“And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of
testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount that Moses knew not
that the skin of his face shown while he talked with him. And when Aaron and all the
children of Israel saw Moses, behold the skin of his face shown, and they were afraid to come near to him.” Exo. 34:29-30.
And Moses didn't even notice, until someone told him.
Moses had to put a veil across his face, when he was among the people.
When he went to be with God, he could take off the veil (see Exo. 34:33-34).
If someone truly loves God, and fully obeys Him, it will be evident that that person belongs to God.
“But if any man love God, the same is known of him.” (1st Cor. 8:3)
