5th.: The Lord’s Prayer: Forgiveness
Jesus' Lord's Prayer ends with:
“…And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen.”
(Matt. 6:11-13).
Forgiveness.
We all need it.
We've all have offended God.
We all need God's mercy.
To get it, we need to (in-part) forgive others.
“If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matt. 6:14-15)
