3rd.: Moses’ personal questions to God, p2

Moses’ first probing question starts with Exodus 33:13.

“Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight,
show me now thy way that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight; and consider that this nation is thy people.”

Moses wanted to know God better.
He wanted to know what pleased God more.
Also, Moses wanted to be reassured that the nation of Israel belonged to God

God then responded with (Exo. 33:14),

1) “My presence shall be with thee.”
2) “I will give thee rest.”

Jesus echoed these thoughts with,
1) “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matt. 28:20).
2) “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest for your souls.” (Matt. 11:29).
God wants to be in a close relationship with us.
He also wants us to be at ease, knowing that we are often uptight, and unsettled.
