31st.: One Liners

To end the year, Scripture can guide us in how to pray. Below are a series of one-liner prayers that we can use:

“Please bless my friend, by choosing him/her and causing her/him to approach unto you.” (Ps. 65:4).

“Please open my friend’s eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins.” (Acts 26:18a-b).

“Please reprove my friend of sin, because he believes not on you. Of righteous, because you go to the Father [and they won’t] and of judgement, because the prince of this world is judged [and so will they]" (John 16:8-11).

“Please let not the rod of the wicked rest upon the lot of the Christians in persecuted countries, lest your followers put forth their hands unto iniquity.” (Ps. 125:3).

“Please fill [so&so] with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” (Col. 1:9b).

“Please keep [my cousin] from being taken captive through philosophy and vain deceit.” (Col. 2:8a).

“Please keep my friend’s faith from failing.” (Luke 22:32a-b).

“Please give me the chance to speak about Christ.” (Col 4:3).
