30th.: Pray Ye the Lord of the Harvest

The book of Isaiah gives a sobering prophecy

“For, behold, I create new heavens, and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to mind.” (Isaiah 65:17)

There will come a time, when we won't remember our time on Earth.
All the activities done here will be forgotten.
Whether they be:
Championships won or lost
Social events
Created works of art
Whatever.

God has revealed his heart to us:
1. “The Lord … is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2nd Pet. 3:9)
2. When he [Jesus] saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them … . Then said he unto his disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.’” (Matt. 9:36-38).

The only things that will be eternally remembered are those people who were reconciled to God.

God wants us to initiate His ‘moving’ in their lives.
God wants us to ASK Him to send laborers (anyone willing to tell others about Jesus) into the world.
God wants us to pray for others, especially their salvation.

The only alternative for the unreconciled is eternity in the Lake of Fire.

Are you willing to put in the time?
