27th.: Just Come to the Lord

After leaving Egypt, the Israelites had no home.
God kept moving them from place to place.
At the stop in the wilderness of Zin, the Israelites complained to Moses about:

1) The lack of water,
2) Why were they taken out of Egypt, and
3) It would have been better for them to have died when Korah died (Num. 20:3-5).
(See Numbers 20:1-2)

“Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly,
unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and fell upon their faces,
and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them” (Num. 20:6).

Moses and Aaron were too stunned to say anything.
What more could they say?
The Israelites would not stop complaining.
In this case, Moses and Aaron did not have to verbally say anything;
their physical coming before the Lord was enough.

Sometimes, it is better to just let the Holy Spirit ask for us.

Return to Home
“Likewise, the Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we know not what we should pray for, as we ought. But the Spirit itself makes intercessions for us with groanings, which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knows, what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints, according to the will of God.” (Rom. 8-26-27)
