20th.: The Horse & Rider Thrown into the Sea!

After God defeated the Egyptian army, by drowning them in the Red Sea,
Moses wrote a victory song. This is recorded in Exodus 15:1-19.

This song praises God's absolute sovereignty (Exo. 15:11):

“Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders [miracles]?”

Three times this song mentions God's drowning the Egyptian army.
It intersperses this praise with various attributes of God’s strength.
The latter parts look forward to the Israelites going to the Promised Land -
and also adding, God shall “plant Israel ‘in the mountain of God’s inheritance” (Exo. 15:17b).

The song concludes with God reigning forever, and a final reminder of how God destroyed Pharaoh and his army.

We may not all be gifted song writers.
Nevertheless, we can individually, and collectively, tell our descendants how God has answered our prayers.
Furthermore, the gifted writers can write merit worthy songs/movies/books to help us collectively remember how God has worked in our collective lives.
