1st.: Moving God in our Lives

The Bible tells of a man named Job.
Job chapter 1, tells us something about him:

Loved God,
Turned away from evil.
Was very wealthy, but did not trust in his riches.

Job 1:6 then takes us to heaven, where we find Satan badmouthing Job.
God acquiesces to Satan’s rants. God allows Satan to take away Job’s possessions.

In chapter 2, Satan further badmouths Job. The Lord answers Satan with this comment,
“Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the Earth, a perfect, and an upright man, one that fears God, and turns away from evil, and still he holds fast to his integrity, although you moved me against him to destroy him without cause.” (Job 2:3).

Many points and sermons can be made about God’s response.

We shall focus on one clause, “… although you moved me against him …”
Could someone claim that God is weak willed? After reading the rest of the book of Job,
God is not weak willed. God used Satan's rants to further God's kingdeom.

Nonetheless, the point needs to be made.
If Satan - God’s 'arch' enemy, -could move God to work in someone’s life, then how much more should we - the adopted sons and daughters of God (through faith in Jesus Christ), also be able to move God to work in someone’s life.
It now becomes our privilege (responsibility?), to take the initiative, and go, “Ask the Lord”, to move in people’s live.
