11th.: Pray Without Ceasing
We just have to always keep praying for others.
Numbers 11:1 gives another incident Moses faced,
“And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord, and the Lord heard it.
And his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burnt among them,
and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camps.
And the people cried unto Moses. And when Moses prayed unto the Lord, the fire was quenched.”
The Israelite people routinely got in trouble
1) The people of Israel disobeyed the Lord.
2) This disobedience kindled the Lord’s anger.
3) The Lord killed a number of Israelites.
4) Moses prayed for the Lord to back down from punishing the Israelites.
5) God stopped the punishment.
Some parents have children that rarely, if ever, get into trouble.
Other parents have children that somehow never get out of trouble.
Praying for children, who are constantly in trouble is never-ending (like Moses did for Israel).
Nevertheless, he could not stop.
Either way, faithful parents must learn to relentlessly pray for their children.
“Pray without ceasing.” (1st Thess. 5:17)
